Wat doe je als er een groot voetbalevenement aankomt? Tesco wilde een last-minute loyaltyprogramma starten en wie wilden ze daar voor hebben? Niemand minder dan Edson Arantes do Nascimento\u2026 Beter bekend als Pel\u00e9!!<\/strong><\/p>\n

Vlak voor het WK-voetbal in Brazili\u00eb werd door Tesco besloten om in diverse Europese landen een tv-commercial<\/a><\/span> uit te zenden om hun actie aan een breed publiek te tonen. Tesco is een internationale speler in de wereld van supermarkten. Er was weinig tijd en er lag een erg ambitieuze wens, ze wilden namelijk de grootste en bekendste oud-voetballer ooit. Het bleek al snel een gezonde ambitie te zijn want twee dagen daarna zou Pel\u00e9 beschikbaar zijn. Hij was op dat moment in Egypte.<\/p>\n

15 minuten met Pel\u00e9<\/h2>\n

[\/vc_column_text][vc_separator type=”transparent” thickness=”5″ up_style=”px” down_style=”px”][vc_column_text]Een paar belangrijke details, hij was slechts voor een kwartier beschikbaar en als je naar Egypte ging dan mocht je geen eigen professionele video-apparatuur meenemen. Dan sta je voor een uitdaging! Meerdere uitdagingen. Uitdaging 1 was een goed script waar de opdrachtgever en het management-team van Pel\u00e9 blij van zouden worden. Een script dat ook nog eens in een kwartier tijd is op te nemen. Uitdaging 2 was een juiste voorbereiding om zeker te weten dat alles tot en met de opnames vlekkeloos verloopt, inclusief een goede Egyptische cameraman. Uitdaging 3, en dat was voor ons een hele belangrijke, wie gaat dit regisseren? Je meest ervaren kracht in het maken van dit soort video\u2019s of een regisseur die tegelijkertijd de grootste voetbalfan op kantoor is?[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row row_type=”row” use_row_as_full_screen_section=”no” type=”grid” text_align=”left” padding_top=”15″ padding_bottom=”0″ box_shadow_on_row=”no” floating_direction=”top-bottom” floating_speed=”3″ zigzag=”yes” floating_randsize=”yes”][vc_column width=”3\/5″][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n

Snelheid<\/h2>\n

[\/vc_column_text][vc_separator type=”transparent” thickness=”5″ up_style=”px” down_style=”px”][vc_column_text]Uitdaging 1 was vrij snel opgelost en uitdaging 2 bleek ook snel opgelost en onder controle. Met een ervaren team werd er gebrainstormd en gepresenteerd, waarna er wat kleine aanpassingen nodig waren maar de basis stond vast. Het script en een goed storyboard volgde al snel.<\/p>\n

Ook alle andere voorbereidingen verliepen vlekkeloos. Er was een goede locale cameravrouw beschikbaar die we vanuit ons netwerk al snel aan de telefoon kregen en konden voorbereiden op een zeer interessant project. Alles ging gesmeerd, totdat de vliegtickets besteld moesten worden. Want wie zou er op het vliegtuig stappen? Daar had ik een bijzonder aangename samenwerking met de grootste oud-voetballer ooit, waarna ik een dag later het kantoor weer binnen stapte. Bij Tesco waren ze uitermate tevreden over hoe soepel alles verlopen was en over het resultaat. Deze campagne heeft in meerdere Europese landen gedraaid en heeft veel nieuwe klanten naar de winkels getrokken.<\/p>\n
